4 Days Until Lift Off!

Welcome to my first blog post!

After 7 weeks in southern Florida I am leaving Wednesday May 6 at 7:44 am on United Airlines. I will arrive in Cairo on Thursday with my one way ticket. At some point I will make my way over to India. And I imagine in 3-6 months I will return to the ole USA.

It is a strange thing; this being about to launch out into the greater world and not knowing exactly what will transpire. People say I am courageous but I feel like I have no choice. Ignoring this calling to go to Egypt will not work out in my favor. I can tell you from experience to resist a calling/flow promises to be your worst nightmare, lol (I laugh now!). So once it comes there is only surrender – and healing and self care to manage/release stress. On the upside, good stuff comes when you are in flow.

What am I doing over there perhaps you wonder? Good question! Well, there will be some meditating in the pyramids, some exploring of ancient places certainly. There will be some writing for my memoir-in-progress. And there will be visiting with my friend Rami and his family. That is all I know on a practical level.
